Manchester City’s Sterling named among most influential British Black personalities.

England international Raheem Sterling has been listed among Britain’s most influential black footballers.
The list often computed and announced annually acknowledge the impacts of black personalities in their various endeavours.
The former Liverpool player has been a notable victim of racial attacks thereby motivating his anti-racism in the last few years.
The list also includes notable players names like by Sadio Mane, Danny Rose, Eniola Aluko, as well as Anita Asante.
The List comprising of black footballers was first published in 2008, takes recognition of the black industry of professionals who are regarded positive influencers.
Representatives from various football bodies in England get to vote names the names of deserving players in the seven available categories.
The co-founder of the Football Black List Leon Mann, said : “Raheem has made such a huge impact in the last year , on and off the pitch .
“His vital words and actions in confronting issues of racism and how the black community is treated cannot be downplayed .
“We are delighted to have another incredible list that will help to inspire the next generation of young black people . It ’s particularly special this year that half of the list is female.”
