Super Eagles head coach Rohr bemoans at CAF’s AFCON qualifying fixtures.

Gernet Rohr laments of how Afcon qualifying fixtures are affecting team performance.
Nigeria is scheduled to play two games within five days in which the German has found unpleasant.
He expressed his unhappiness with about fixture arrangements in his side’s tight African Cup of Nations qualifying schedules scheduled for November.
The Nigerian team will play Republic of Benin in their group-L match on November 13 before playing Lesotho on November 17, 2019.
The German tactician has named a strong 23-man squad for the group fixtures as the Super-Eagles start their quest to win the competition for a fourth time.
Rohr, who guided the team to the last world cup, and bronze medal in this year’s AFCON competition expressed his frustration in his team’s upcoming schedules.
“Our players from Europe will only get to us a day or two before the first game, so there is no time for adaptation to the African conditions,” Rohr said ,as reported by BBC Sport.
“After that game on Thursday, we travel to Lesotho away on Friday to play on an artificial surface on Sunday. This is not ideal and proper for any team.”
“We’ve spoken to Caf about this but nothing has been done.”
Nigeria played friendlies against Ukraine and
Brazil in their preparation for the qualifiers, and both games ended in draws.
