Ugandan woman weds three husbands at once

…’Mummy’ determines sex roster —One of Aguti’s three husbands
 
A Ugandan woman, 36-year-old Ann Grace Aguti from the country’s Ngora region, trended on social media about her decision to marry three men at the same time, Richard Alich, John Peter Oluka, and Michael Enyaku.
 
All the men are staying in the same compound as her.
 
After Aguti’s uncle, Pastor Peter Ogwang organized family members to evict his daughter’s husbands, local newspaper New Vision broke the news of the unorthodox arrangement on Sunday.
 
Aguti, who is pregnant for six months, had given the three men three of the seven small huts in her compound. Aguti was claimed to have more people in her home but for “indiscipline” he removed others.
 
In response to the attempt by her father to oust her husbands, Aguti stated, “I was married before in a manner my clan wants. But my desire is to have a tender loving husband, who can provide all my needs as a housewife. My husband was useless and I remained the breadwinner. When I left him, I started looking for that special someone, but I have not yet found him because even now, I have to feed the men that I have. So, my search continues!”
 
Some of the husbands of Aguti were debating how they met. Alich, a retired police officer with 10 grown-up kids, said he met Aguti when she came home from the branch of Brac Uganda, Ngora, where she went to process a loan.
 
“Her bicycle had developed a mechanical problem, so I offered to repair it. In the process, one thing led to another and I found myself here. I stay in that hut,”   Alich said, referring to his place of residence.
 
Oluka, the other husband told New Vision he knew Aguti had a number of men from the same village.
 
“I met her at a swamp where I was grazing my cows and joked about her taking me on as a husband too — and that was it. She allocated me a hut,” he said.
 
“We have lived harmoniously for close to a year now. I have no problem with my co-husbands. The consensus among us is that mummy (Aguti) determines the duty (sex) roster and her decision is final,” Oluka stated.
